How To Use An Oil Warmer?



Aromatherapy has been used to increase physical and emotional well-being at least since the time of the ancient Egyptians. While this therapy has a wide variety of uses, today we will discuss how to use an oil warmer as a form of Aromatherapy.

There are many different kinds of aromatic oils that are not only different in fragrance, but that, also have a different effect on your emotional well-being. The effects range from, energizing to soothing and calming depending on the aromatic oil you choose. These days, oil warmers are widely available and are very affordable to buy. Simply buy your favorite oil warmer design, some unscented tealights and some aromatic oils.

How To Use: 1) First, set your oil warmer on a sturdy table of your choice. 2) Next, fill the dish with water and add a few drops of your favorite aromatic oil. You should add about 10-25 drops of your favorite aromatic oil to the water depending on how mild or how strong you like it. 3)Finally, light up an unscented tealight. Place the tealight in the compartment of the oil warmer. It is recommended that you use unscented tealights ONLY, as you do not want the fragrance of the tealight competing with the fragrance of the aromatic oil. 4) As the water vaporizes, it will fill the room with a pleasant frgrance. You should turn off the tealight while the dish still has some water on it, about a tablespoonful or so. NEVER, let the dish run dry, it will break! NEVER, put cold water in the hot dish, it will break! NEVER, NEVER leave it unattended! 5) When the dish has COMPLETELY COOLED, you can wash it with warm water and a mild soap. Store it for future use. That's all there is to it!

What is aromatherapy?
