Gout Treated with Homeopathy

Homeopathy treats holistically, it does not treat the symptoms of the disease, it targets the root cause of dis-ease in the sick person. Not all people who suffer from gout will have the same symptoms, that's why treating all individuals with the same prescription drug will produce so many varied responses.

Some may experience instantaneous relief without any apparent side effects, while others receive no relief and may have many aggravations from the drug, all in accordance with individual susceptibilities and predispositions of the patient.

This is the argument for treating the patient holistically and individually, and this is the method classical homeopathy uses to treat all disease. Every disease has its particular package of symptoms attached to it, but exactly how they will manifest in the individual patient will depend on their susceptibilities.

Homeopathy is interested in the emotional and environmental factors which may have triggered the dis-ease in the patient. The fact that the patient has gout in the toe, knee, ankle or wherever is of no importance, its how the patient reacts to their disease, and what other accompanying symptoms they may have.

Some patients may have a low pain threshold, become angry, and aggressive, abuse their carers, blame others for their problems and demand immediate relief to their suffering.Other patients may bear their gout with great fortitude and accept their disease as part of life, they may demand much of themselves and very little of others.

Here are two vastly different personalities who may have what is called gout, however, the homeopathic remedies chosen will be based on their individual personalities, not on the outward manifestations of their disease.

Homeopathy will treat your gout with a remedy which produces similar symptoms to what you have. If gout in your big toe wakes you at 3-00am on a bitterly cold morning and you hit the bathroom and plunge your toe into icy cold water to gain relief while at the same time you are shouting profanities and abuse to all, it is important to take note of this symptom, for this is an individual expression of your dis-ease.

It may appear strange to use a remedy which causes similar symptoms to what you may be experiencing, but this is the way of homeopathy. It does not treat superficially, it treats the whole person, and although the remedy does not have side effects, if the remedy has been well chosen it should cause an aggravation of your existing symptoms.

Although you may find this bit of news disturbing for we all like to have our symptoms palliated, sooner rather than later, but this is not cure, it is a masking effect and symptoms will soon return with greater force.

This aggravating effect of the remedy has matched your energy, and you will find that your symptoms will slowly fade. Symptoms which disappear in the reverse order of their coming are removed permanently.Gout treated with homeopathy will return you to health and vitality.

What is homeopathy?

An alternative treatment of disease involving the consumption of natural materials that simulate the symptoms of the disease. These materials are first diluted in pure water to such an extent that there are generally no molecules of the original material left. The efficacy of this treatment is rejected by most medical experts. It has the potential of causing harm, because individuals may seek a cure through homeopathy, and ignore the potential for a cure from a physician.
A natural pharmaceutical science that utilizes substances from the plant, mineral, and animal kingdoms and is based on the premise that these naturally occurring substances can cure disease symptoms similar to those they produce if taken in overdose. Each medicine is individually prescribed according to how it stimulates the immune and defence systems of the sick person. Sometimes it is called the “royal medicine.
A form of medicine that relies on minute amounts of herbs, minerals, and other substances to stimulate natural defences against disease. It is more widely used in Western Europe than the United States. Developed in the late 18th century by Samuel Hahnemann, MD, the therapy uses the "law of similars" to treat disease. That is, if large amounts of a substance such as quinine cause symptoms of an illness in a healthy person, then smaller amounts should be used for the cure.
