How to Increase Self Esteem with Hypnosis

From the moment we are born the environment around us is sending millions of signals to our brain every second. In this cacophony we latch onto familiar sounds, concepts and ideas from our surroundings, no matter whether they are good or bad for us.

As we grow so do these internalised ideas and beliefs. They shape our life, our personalities, our relationshipsevery aspect of our world comes from this internal world we have constructed. People around us say things every day without thought of the real message they are giving. Just listening to an average office conversation is enough to make me want to shake the participants to try and wake them up, as they have no idea the damage they are doing to each other.

For example, one woman who I have knew was an absolute neat freak (Not sure if that is a real medical term or not but hey ho). She was so fastidious about her cleanliness that while her house was always spotless she was stuck in an old pattern that refused to let her do anything outside the house. She wouldnt go anywhere on holiday because it was always so dirty, everything had to be just-so and any deviation from her world view was impossible for her to accept. She was in essence completely held by a single belief.

One day I overhead her berating herself because she hadnt had a bath that day, just for a single day, when she said in a voice that was obviously someone elses (believe me, after a while you can tell when it is a persons own voice or not) youre a DIRTY girl. This one sentence, this one comment, had been built up over time and now completely paralysed her. This single comment had been taken out of context and had sucked over 30 years of her life away. 30 years of her dreams and hopes and desires all gone because of a simple processing mistake in her mind that would take about 30 minutes to solve with hypnosis.

This illustrates how an unintended comment can do untold damage to a person. Obviously it wasnt a one off time that she had been told this, so as a child she latched onto the familiar repeated concept that she was dirty. This not only destroyed her self esteem as a child but it CONTINUED to do harm as she grew older. Your self esteem is precious, you are precious. Any beliefs you have to the contrary are just plain wrong.

Think about it.There are billions of galaxies in the universe, in each galaxy there are billions of stars, around these stars are planets of one form or another. And in all that space, among all that life there is only one of you, have you any idea how special and rare and unique you are. No one else sees the world as you do or has your dreams or hopes or wishes. Against this what chance does a single simple baseless belief stand? Absolutely none!

This is how hypnosis will help you regain your self esteem. By getting you back in touch with that aspect of yourself that truly knows how special you are it allows you to look at your beliefs and see if they help or hinder you. Once you see a belief for what it is it no longer has any power over you. Your self esteem will soar to its true potential and you will be the person you were born to be.

P.S. When I mention that my children are dirty, because they have been playing outside, do you know what they say?..."It's not dirt....its learning!" How cool is that!

What is Hypnotherapy or Hypnosis?

Hypnotherapy processes interact directly with inner consciousness to find core issue causes of problems in a client’s life. Clients can examine beliefs and thought processes that are giving rise to emotional, physical, mental and spiritual problems and make changes at the core level from which the outer manifestation originates. With changes at the inner levels of consciousness the outer projection changes.
the clinical use of hypnosis, in which the subject’s powers of consciousness are mobilised and subconscious memories and perceptions are brought into consciousness. Heightened responsiveness to suggestions and commands, suspension of disbelief with lowering of critical judgments, the potential of alteration in perceptions, motor control, or memory in response to suggestions and the subjective experience of responding involuntarily are induced through hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy is the application of hypnosis as a form of medical therapy, usually for relieving pain or conditions related to one's state of mind. Practitioners believe that when a client enters, or believes he has entered, a state of trance, the patient is more receptive to suggestion and other therapy. The most common use of hypnotherapy is to remedy maladies like obesity, smoking, pain, ego, anxiety, stress, amnesia, phobias, and performance but many others are also treated by hypnosis.
