Chakra Meditation for Healing - Chakra 1 - Muladhara (Base or Root) Chakra

1st - Muladhara (Base) Chakra ~ EARTH ~ RUBY RED

Muladhara (Base or Root) Chakra - From Sanskrit Muladhara can be translated as That which Holds the Base or Root.

Focus your awareness at the Muladhara or Base Chakra, your vital Root center, located at the end of your spine, the serpent's tailbone.

See a whirling ball of Ruby Red Colored light pulsing with energy in this center. This is your procreative life force energy. Its nature is forceful and passionate.

Feel this warm Ruby Red Colored light and breathe deeply into this energy center. This is your core life energy that connects you to the earth and ALL of Life.

Your survival instincts are centered here. Feel yourself anchored to the earth through this energy center. Feel the Warm Ruby Red Color of Earth as it penetrates your body and flows down through your legs and into your feet, supporting you to move upon the earth.

You feel connected to all that is through this energy center. Recognize your connection and affirm, "I am one with all of life now and forever. I AM SAFE."

Embrace any fear or doubt that separates you from others, that separates you from life. Allow your feeling of separateness to leave you now.

Gratitude: "I give thanks for being one with all of life." Breathe out any residual resistance you may feel to living the truth that ALL IS ONE. Affirm once more, "I am one with all of life NOW and FOREVER. I AM SAFE."

To develop, nurture and stablize your sense of Absolute Safety and Well-being practice this breathing visualization and affirmation exercise daily, prior to falling asleep and on waking. Feel the TRUTH of it Deep Within Your Being and Relax.

Emotional stagnation or blockage at your Base Chakra emits an energy frequency that resonates with feeling disconnected from ones tribe, community or family, the sense of not belonging is accompanied by frustration, rage and thwarted passion.

Related physical imbalances, include: sciatica, prostrate, uterine, ovarian and hemorrhoid conditions.

Recite this Mantra six times aloud as you continue to focus your awareness at your Muladhara Chakra. Remember to inhale and exhale fully as you recite the mantra.

I Grow, I Love, I Create, I Transmute

Recite this same mantra silently six times within yourself as you continue to focus your awareness at your Muladhara Chakra. Remember to inhale and exhale fully as you recite the mantra.

I Grow, I Love, I Create, I Transmute

You will sound the Seed Syllable LA (Keynote C Major) while continuing to focus your awareness at your Muladhara Chakra for five minutes.

First Clear and Balance your Muladhara Chakra for 4 minutes duration by allowing images to naturally surface and melt away as blockages are cleared and balance restored in your Muladhara Chakra.

C Major TONE - LA ------------------------

Conclude your visualization and recitation of the Seed Syllable LA by seeing your Muladhara Chakra as a clear and vibrant whirling ball of Bright RUBY RED Colored light pulsing with energy at this center (1 minute duration).

Remember to inhale fully and exhale as you visualize your Muladhara Chakra being clear, vibrantly alive and healthy.

You have completed the first cycle for clearing, balancing and charging your Rainbow Bridge.

As you become adept at working with your chakras you may gradually increase the time you focus your attention on each energy center. Initially your focus should be for no more than five minutes duration.

A regular practice of these exercises will result in an increased amplitude for each of your Major Chakras and give you the necessary stamina to dispel life obstacles. Increased amplitude of your energy centers will greatly enhance your vital life force and positively impact your health and longevity.

Your regular practice of these guided visualization and affirmation exercises is a conscious investment you can choose to make in building your personal power which will enable you to direct your spirit.

What is meditation?

Meditation usually refers to a state in which the body is consciously relaxed and the mind is allowed to become calm and focused. Several major religions include ritual meditation; however, meditation itself need not be a religious or spiritual activity. Most of the more popular systems of meditation are of Eastern origin, though there exists also various forms of Christian, Jewish and Muslim meditation.
Meditation as a form of alternative medicine brings about mental calmness and physical relaxation by suspending the stream of thoughts that normally occupy the mind. Generally performed once or twice a day for approximately 20 minutes at a time, meditation is used to reduce stress, alter hormone levels, and elevate one's mood.
A discipline in which the mind is focused on a single point of reference. Employed since ancient times in various forms by all religions, the practice gained greater notice in the post war US as interest in Zen Buddhism rose. Meditation is now used by many nonreligious adherents as a method of stress reduction; known to lower levels of cortisol, a hormone released in response to stress. Enhances recuperation and improves the body’s resistance to disease.
Meditation is an easy and simple way to balance a person's physical, emotional, and mental states. It is easily learned and has been used as an aid in treating stress, anxiety, pain management, and as part of an overall treatment for other conditions including hypertension and heart disease. Research shows that meditation decreases the heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen consumption, and even decreases blood pressure.
