Chakra Meditation for Healing - Chakra 2 - Svadisthana (Sexual or Spleen) Chakra

2nd - Svadisthana (Sexual or Spleen) Chakra ~ WATER ~ ROSE

Svadisthana (Sexual or Spleen) Chakra - From Sanskrit Svadisthana can be translated as Primordial Abode.

Focus your awareness at the Svadisthana or Sexual Chakra, half way between your navel and your pubic bone.

See a Whirling Ball of Warm Rose Colored light pulsing with energy in this center. Rose is the color of relationship.

This is your vital life force energy for purification and health. Its nature is calm and soothing. It imbues you with robust energy, stamina and a feeling of aliveness.

A balanced and healthy Svadisthana Chakra ensures a strong immune system and an inherent sense of health and well-being.

Emotional stagnation or blockage at your Spleen/Sexual Chakra emits an energy frequency that resonates with feeling rejected and attracts toxic environmental conditions (both internal and external) that trigger states of anxiety, fear and worry. Issues of rejection and victimization, as well as the need for protection are often prevalent.

Related physical imbalances, include: toxic and infectious conditions, cancer and diabetes.

Recite this Mantra six times aloud as you continue to focus your awareness at your Svadisthana Chakra. Remember to inhale and exhale fully as you recite the mantra.

I Live, I Purify, I Accept, I Protect

Recite this same mantra silently six times within yourself as you continue to focus your awareness at your Svadisthana Chakra. Remember to inhale and exhale fully as you recite the mantra.

I Live, I Purify, I Accept, I Protect

You will sound the SEED SYLLABLE BA (Keynote D in the C Major scale) while continuing to focus your awareness at your Svadisthana Chakra for five minutes.

Clear and Balance (4 minutes duration) by allowing images to naturally surface and melt away as blockages are cleared and balance restored in your Svadisthana Chakra.

D TONE - BA ------------------------

Conclude (1 minute duration) your visualization and recitation of the Seed Syllable BA by seeing your Svadisthana Chakra as a clear and vibrant whirling ball of Bright ROSE PINK colored light pulsing with energy at this center.

Remember to inhale and exhale fully as you visualize your Svadisthana Chakra being clear, vibrantly alive and healthy.

You have completed the second cycle for clearing, balancing and charging your Rainbow Bridge.

As you become adept at working with your chakras you may gradually increase the time you focus your attention on each energy center. Initially your focus should be for no more than five minutes duration.

A regular practice of these exercises will result in increased amplitude for each of your Major Chakras and give you the necessary stamina to dispel life obstacles. Increased amplitude of your energy centers will greatly enhance your vital life force and positively impact your health and longevity.

Your regular practice of these guided visualization and affirmation exercises is a conscious investment you can choose to make in building your personal power which will enable you to direct your spirit.

What is meditation?

Meditation usually refers to a state in which the body is consciously relaxed and the mind is allowed to become calm and focused. Several major religions include ritual meditation; however, meditation itself need not be a religious or spiritual activity. Most of the more popular systems of meditation are of Eastern origin, though there exists also various forms of Christian, Jewish and Muslim meditation.
Meditation as a form of alternative medicine brings about mental calmness and physical relaxation by suspending the stream of thoughts that normally occupy the mind. Generally performed once or twice a day for approximately 20 minutes at a time, meditation is used to reduce stress, alter hormone levels, and elevate one's mood.
A discipline in which the mind is focused on a single point of reference. Employed since ancient times in various forms by all religions, the practice gained greater notice in the post war US as interest in Zen Buddhism rose. Meditation is now used by many nonreligious adherents as a method of stress reduction; known to lower levels of cortisol, a hormone released in response to stress. Enhances recuperation and improves the body’s resistance to disease.
Meditation is an easy and simple way to balance a person's physical, emotional, and mental states. It is easily learned and has been used as an aid in treating stress, anxiety, pain management, and as part of an overall treatment for other conditions including hypertension and heart disease. Research shows that meditation decreases the heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen consumption, and even decreases blood pressure.
